Piquette by Deliquente Wine Company, is spritzig, light and dry with the fruity goodness of green apples and preserved lemons. It has a lovely bit of tang, it's yeasty and has salinity with nice, clean acidity to finish.
It's a #verygoodwine, but technically it's not classified as wine. Its made from previously pressed organic and biodynamic vermentino grapeskins that have water added and the remaining sugars in the skins start fermenting to produce this natural alternative grape drink. A little bit of Chardonnay juice is added prior to bottling and no SO2 was used, much like Pet Nat.
