“The best Rose I’ve had this year. It’s going to take something special to knock it off its perch. 95pts”
This special offer from Moorilla Estate is one of their non-commercial labels, which was originally produced for a festival. They ended up producing more bottles than were required, hence the big reduction in price for the leftover bottles.
It’s a dry style Rose with some body from extra skin contact. It has notes of forrest berries, a hint of blood orange and a refreshing finish that is easy drinking and a great wine for sharing on its own, with friends.

Hints of Turkish delight and Rose Petals add a lovely lift that is well balanced with some more savoury elements of blood oranges, minerality and saline which then leads to a refreshing and dry finish and a touch of spice. “Clover Hill is one of Tasmania’s exclusive sparkling producers and a major sponsor of the Taste of Summer festival”
Here we have a rather deceiving Pinot Noir because at first glance it gives a perception of a light bodied wine but the palate reveals so much more. Concentrated red cherry fruits and blue fruits provide a fruitful but yet restrained elegance on the front palate which is the complimented by a smooth silky texture with dried herbal influences, fennel and mild orange spices which then finish with, firm and balancing tannins that are trade mark tannins of the Coal River Valley. A wine that's sure to continue developing in the cellar into the next decade.
