“Shipping and Logistics ”
At Budburst we aim to dispatch all of our orders between a 1 and 3 day timeframe. If it’s going to take longer, then we will contact you.
Generally, our delays occur if we are waiting for stocks to arrive from a Mainland supplier or from a local small producer, who might only come to town once a week. Either way we will keep you informed, if this occurs.
Shipping Fees
Greater Hobart: $7.50 (free shipping for orders over $200)
Tasmania Other Regions: $10, (free shipping for orders over $200) (exc King, Cape Barron and Flinders Islands)
Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane: $20 (free shipping for orders over $200)
Canberra: $28 (free shipping for order over $275)
Major Population Centers of QLD, NSW, VIC: $28 (free shipping for orders over $275)
Perth: $40
Darwin and all other Australian Country Areas: The $100 charge is a deposit and we will credit you any difference in the actual freight cost. Alternatively we can also provide with a shipping quote in advance
Vintages -
We work hard to maintain correct vintages on our wine store, but sometimes suppliers change vintages without notice. If a vintage change occurs after you have placed an order, then we will notify you of the change and you have the option of keeping the wine ordered or receiving a credit.
Deliveries -
As a Licensed Supplier of Wine there are also some laws and regulations the we are required to follow in relation to sales and deliveries. You must be over 18 years of age to purchase wines, hence we require a date of birth confirmation at check-out. It is also illegal for minors to receive delivery of alcohol and we don’t leave Liquor unattended, so we ask that you provide a delivery address where adults will be able to receive goods.
Mainland and local Shipping charges are subsidised by Budburst. Orders over 24 bottles and to PO Boxes or Parcel Boxes, may incur additional charges depending on the region being shipped to
