42 Degrees Premier Cuvee Sparkling NV

Fresh, elegant and unmistakably Tasmanian, 42 Degrees South Premier Cuvée Sparkling NV combines bright cool-climate fruit with subtle complexity and a fine, persistent bead.

Toasty brioche and delicate citrus lead the aromatics, followed by crisp green apple, fresh strawberry and hints of pear and lemon. The palate is lively and refreshing, with bright natural acidity balanced by a soft, creamy texture and gentle savoury lees characters.

Fine bubbles and a clean, lingering finish make this a beautifully versatile Tasmanian sparkling — equally suited to an aperitif, a celebration or the dining table.

Winemaking

Predominantly Chardonnay with Pinot Noir and a small amount of Pinot Meunier, sourced from Campania in Tasmania's Coal River Valley.

Reserve wines dating back to 2007 make up around half of the blend, adding depth and consistency, before the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in bottle and approximately 12–18 months of lees ageing.

Food Match

Perfect with freshly shucked oysters, Tasmanian seafood or smoked salmon. Also a lovely match with creamy chicken dishes, soft cheeses or light canapés.
