Kreglinger Vintage Rose 2019

The Kreglinger Vintage Rosé 2019 is an elegant and beautifully structured Tasmanian sparkling wine, crafted entirely from Pinot Noir grown in the cool-climate vineyards of Pipers Brook. With its exceptionally pale blush colour, this is a sophisticated Rosé that combines delicate fruit with remarkable texture and complexity.

The entry is fresh and vibrant, with wild strawberries and a subtle twist of lime. The mid-palate develops a lovely savoury character, with sourdough brioche adding richness and texture to the delicate red fruits. Fine bubbles and beautifully balanced acidity carry through to a long, elegant finish, with a gentle savoury complexity.

Winemaking

Hand-harvested Pinot Noir is gently whole-bunch pressed, with the finest juice fermented in seasoned French oak barrels and matured for nine months. Following secondary fermentation in bottle, the wine spends four years on lees, developing its signature creamy texture and complexity.

Residual Sugar: 7.5 g/L. 

Food Match

Beautiful with freshly shucked oysters, smoked salmon blinis, seared scallops or a delicate duck liver pâté. Its combination of freshness and savoury complexity also makes it an excellent match for soft cheeses and charcuterie and Garlic Prawns with preserved lemons.
