It's a blend of Fiano 51%, with a large percentage of Pecorino 30% and Pinot Gris 19%. About Somos Wines
Somos Wines, led by Mauricio Ruiz Cantú, embodies a fascinating blend of Mexican heritage and Australian winemaking expertise. Mauricio's journey began in his late teens when he worked at a large winery in his native Mexico, igniting his passion for the craft. Inspired to deepen his knowledge and skills, Mauricio made the bold decision to migrate to Australia to pursue studies in Viticulture and Oenology at Adelaide University. This transformative experience laid the foundation for Somos Wines, where Mauricio's diverse background and adventurous spirit shine through in every bottle.
The Somos range reflects Mauricio's penchant for exploration and experimentation, showcasing a diverse array of grape varieties sourced from McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills. From the bold and robust Aglianico to the crisp and aromatic Vermentino, each wine in the Somos portfolio tells a unique story of terroir and varietal expression.
