Spring Tasting at the Hope & Anchor
Spring Tasting at the Hope & Anchor Hotel
It is actually bud burst time in the vineyards with the arrival of Spring, but we are venturing into Australia's oldest Pub, to taste some new delicious offerings and celebrate the end of winter.
On show will be a new Tasmanian Producer with some rather impressive wines and also a range of modern Barossan wines, whose winemaker/owner I had the pleasure to meet the other week, and again I was impressed by the overall quality and value.
To round out the tasting, there'll be a sprinkling of selected wines that have piqued my interest of late, and they are definitely worth sharing as well.
It will be the usual mixed bag of interesting and delicious wines, which is the perfect opportunity to try before you buy and hang out for a while
When: Wednesday the 25th September 2024
Time: 4.30pm to 6.30pm
Where: 65 Macquarie Street, Hobart
(nibbles included)
