This Strelley Farm Chardonnay is a flavoursome example and the extra little bit of bottle age making for a well integrated and mellow wine. It begins with white peaches and nectarines providing a dose of fruit which is imparted by citrus fruit and a hint of white flowers. It has a smooth creamy texture with an added touch of seasalts and grapefruits, and the finish is clean and lengthy with a spicy note. It's a good match with seared scallops with a citrusy beaure Blanc or Grilled Prawn Skewers with a lemon garlic marinade.
