Tscharke Stonewell Grenache 2021
This single vineyard organic Shiraz has a refined in its make up with lots of structure and complexity. The fruit component on entry is of medium weight but has considerable concentration with red cherry, black berries and dried rosemary herbs make for a savoury influence rather than juicy fruits which are more commonly associated with the Barossa. Ground Coffee, white pepper, orange peel and slate make for further complexity through the mid palate and the exit finishes with a tightly bound, slightly spiced tannins structure. This is still a baby, but all the signs are there that this wine will integrate and blossom beautifully over the next two decades.
