Produced from a close planted single site that was planted in the Northern Suburbs of Hobart in 1986, this exquisite example of premium Tasmanian Pinot Noir exudes elegance with underlying power all in one.
Red cherry and raspberries fruits display a considerable level of concentration and the texture and complexity of the mid palate made up of silk, dried thyme, cherry blossoms, vanilla beans and fennel that are supported by subtle spice oak, leave you a little spellbound, just as the finely structured whole bunch tannins add a dimension of strength to finish. Drinking beautifully now but should peak around 2030 and most likely beyond
