About Rivulet Wines
Rivulet Wines is a boutique winery in Tasmania, Australia, founded by Keira O'Brien. The winery specializes in small-batch, handcrafted wines that reflect the unique Tasmanian terroir, focusing on varieties such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Sylvaner. O'Brien's journey to establish Rivulet Wines was partly inspired by her desire to preserve Tasmania's oldest commercial Riesling vineyard, leading to the label's launch in 2019 with a wine from the 2018 vintage.
The name "Rivulet" symbolizes the small-scale nature of their production—tiny trickles of wine and rivulets of sweat on the brow.
