Domaine Olivier Merlin's Pouilly-Fuisse is a refined Chardonnay from Burgundy's MÃ ¢connais region, showcasing the area's limestone-rich terroir. The wine displays a pale green-gold hue and offers aromas of white peach and Williams pear. On the palate, it is smooth and well-rounded, with excellent freshness and minerality on the finish. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in oak barrels, 25% of which are new, followed by 10 months of aging. This wine pairs beautifully with seafood, poultry, and creamy cheeses.
