Henschke The Wheelwright Shiraz 2022

The Wheelwright vineyard was planted by Cyril Henschke in 1968. This refined single-vineyard Shiraz from Eden Valley, was first released in 2018 to celebrate the Henschke family's 150 years of winemaking heritage.
<span;>You are treated to perfectly structured wine with feagrant fruit components of black cherry and boysenberry up front. It has a layered and complex mid palate of cocoa, pepper spice and fine herbs that are integrated with toasted oak influences. Its a wine that exhibits both elegance and power with finely grained tannins and balanced acidity providing length.  It's an ideal partner for chat grilled run eye with mushrooms or pair with an aged Cheddar
