Highclare Estate Pinot Gris 2024
The Highclare Pinot Gris opens with lovely floral aromatics alongside fresh Nashi pear and Pink Lady apple. The mid-palate is complex and flavoursome, revealing layers of Turkish delight, lychee, jasmine flowers and a gentle touch of musky spice. The finish has moderate acidity that remains nicely in the background, allowing the generous fruit and aromatic spice to linger.
A wonderfully versatile food wine, with its moderate acidity and subtle spice making it particularly well suited to dishes with a little chilli heat.
Food Match: Red duck curry, Japanese katsu curry, Kung Pao chicken or Cantonese-style steamed snapper.
