Les Peyrautins Rose 2024
A fresh and lively Grenache Rosé from the Languedoc in southern France, Les Peyrautins delivers plenty of flavour while retaining the crisp, dry character that makes this such an easy wine to enjoy.
Strawberry and fresh red berries lead into hints of citrus, peach and apricot, with bright acidity giving the wine immediate freshness. Four months ageing on fine lees adds a subtle creaminess and texture through the mid-palate without taking away from its vibrant fruit.
The finish is dry, crisp and refreshing, with lingering red berries, stone fruit and a gentle mineral edge. Light, bright and uncomplicated, but with enough texture and flavour to make it more than just a simple summer Rosé.
Food Match: Fresh prawns, grilled fish, Mediterranean salads or charcuterie. Also a great match with goat's cheese, antipasto or a lobster roll.
Region: IGP Pay's Doc, Languedoc, France
