A bright and approachable Sangiovese from the hills of Chieti in Abruzzo, Rocca Ventosa 2024 delivers classic Italian red-fruit character in a fresh, medium-bodied style.

Ripe cherry and raspberry lead into red plum and subtle violet, with gentle dried herbs and spice adding a savoury edge through the mid-palate. Soft, well-integrated tannins give the wine shape without becoming heavy, while fresh acidity keeps the fruit lively and balanced.

The finish is smooth and persistent, with lingering wild cherry, red berries and gentle spice. An easy-drinking, food-friendly Italian red that offers plenty of character without too much weight.
