Dr Edge Chardennui Chardonnay 2023

Dr Edge 'Chardennui' is a blend of three Chardonnay Vineyards from the Tamar Valley and East Coast regions in Tasmania. Around 15% of the Chardonnay was foot stomped and fermented on skins to add a hit of texture. Old oak puncheons fermented the rest with a tiny tiny dash of Riesling in there for extra fruit motivation. One thing guaranteed with Peter Dredge is that he challanges the conventional, hence the play on words but this wine offers varietal characters of white peaches and nectarines, textured minerality and a clean, lingering finish
