Generous, plush and fruit-driven, the 2025 Palatial Pinot Noir delivers the fuller-flavoured style that has become a hallmark of Elephant in the Room.
Ripe plum, dark berries and cherry lead the way, with subtle forest-floor notes and a touch of smoky spice adding savoury complexity. The palate is soft and supple, packed with red berry and cherry fruit, while bright acidity and fine tannins keep the wine fresh and well defined through the finish.
This is Pinot Noir made for easy enjoyment — generous in flavour, smooth in texture and very approachable.
Winemaking
Fruit is sourced mainly from low-yielding vineyards around Mount Gambier in South Australia’s Limestone Coast, where the cooler climate allows Pinot Noir to ripen slowly while retaining freshness.
The wine is partially matured in French oak before final blending and bottling under winemaker Corey Ryan, adding subtle spice and texture without overwhelming the fruit.

A great match with roast duck, pork schnitzel, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto or herb-roasted chicken. Its generous fruit and soft tannins also make it an easy partner for charcuterie and casual barbecue dishes.
